How does the daily case system work?

The daily case system rewards players who complete all daily games. Once you play at least 2 games, you unlock the daily free case which can contain skins worth up to $500. You can only open one case per day, and the case resets daily at Amsterdam timezone. The case contains various CS:GO skins with different rarities and values, and you can view your prize history in your profile.

What is the streak system and how does it work?

The streak system tracks your daily game completion. You need to complete at least 2 games per day to maintain or increase your streak. Your current streak shows consecutive days of game completion, while your best streak tracks your highest achievement. Streaks are based on game completion, not correct answers. The system uses Amsterdam timezone for daily resets. Higher streaks increase your chances of winning better prizes.

How do I authenticate and create an account?

CS2DLE supports multiple authentication methods:
1)
Traditional email/password registration;
2)
Steam OAuth integration - Sign in with your Steam account;
3)
Google OAuth;
4)
Discord OAuth. Steam users will be prompted to provide their email address after first login. Guest mode is also available for trying games without registration. All authentication methods are secure and your data is protected.

What are tickets and how do I earn them?

Tickets are the primary currency in CS2DLE. You earn 1 ticket for each correct guess in any game mode. Tickets contribute to your total score and ranking on the leaderboard. They can be used for various features and help determine your position in the weekly prize competitions. Tickets are permanent and don't expire, accumulating over time as you play and succeed in games.

How does the leaderboard system work?

The leaderboard ranks players based on their total tickets earned, current streaks, and games played. It displays top players with their statistics including best streaks, total guesses, and prizes won. The leaderboard updates in real-time and includes both registered users and guest players. Weekly prizes are awarded to top performers, with countdown timers showing when the next prize period begins.

What are the timezone considerations?

CS2DLE operates on Amsterdam timezone (Europe/Amsterdam) for all daily resets, game availability, and streak calculations. Daily challenges reset at midnight Amsterdam time, and the daily case system follows the same schedule. This ensures fair competition regardless of your location. All timestamps and countdowns are displayed in Amsterdam time for consistency.

How does the feedback system work in Guess the Skin?

After each guess in Guess the Skin, you receive detailed feedback on multiple categories: Weapon Type (e.g., AK-47, AWP), Skin Rarity (color-coded), Category (e.g., Pistol, Rifle), Collection (e.g., Operation Bravo), and Team (e.g., Team Liquid, FaZe). Each category shows whether your guess was correct and provides the correct answer to help guide your next attempt. You have unlimited attempts until you guess correctly.

What are the scoring systems for different games?

Each game mode has unique scoring:
1)
Guess the Skin - Earn 1 ticket for correct guess, with detailed feedback on each attempt;
2)
Emoji Puzzle - Score based on attempt number (100 base + bonus up to 70 points for early correct guesses);
3)
All games contribute to your streak and overall statistics. Scores are tracked per game type and contribute to your total ranking.

How do I view my game history and statistics?

Your profile page displays comprehensive statistics including total games played, current and best streaks, total tickets earned, average scores, and success rates for each game type. You can view your daily case prize history, game completion status for the current day, and detailed breakdown of your performance across all game modes. Guest players can also track their statistics during their session.

What are the audio and visual features?

CS2DLE includes immersive audio features: background music for home and game pages, sound effects for correct/incorrect guesses, hover sounds, and game selection sounds. All audio can be toggled on/off in settings. The interface features modern animations using Framer Motion, responsive design for all devices, and a dark theme optimized for gaming. Visual feedback includes success/failure animations and smooth transitions.

How does the email verification system work?

Email verification is required for Steam users and optional for other authentication methods. Steam users are automatically redirected to an email collection page after first login to replace their temporary Steam email. Verified emails are used for account recovery and important notifications. The system supports email availability checking and prevents duplicate registrations.

How do I contact support or report issues?

For technical support, account issues, or bug reports, you can contact the development team through the platform's support channels. Include detailed information about your issue, including browser type, device information, and steps to reproduce the problem. The platform includes comprehensive error handling and user-friendly error messages to help resolve common issues.

What are the privacy and security measures?

CS2DLE implements comprehensive security measures including secure authentication through NextAuth.js, encrypted password storage, and secure session management. User data is protected and only essential information is collected. The platform follows GDPR compliance guidelines and provides users with control over their data. All API communications are secured and user privacy is prioritized.

How often do new challenges and content update?

New challenges are generated daily at midnight Amsterdam time. Each game mode receives fresh content daily, ensuring players always have new puzzles to solve. The daily case system refreshes daily with new potential prizes. Weekly leaderboards reset every week, and seasonal events may introduce special challenges and rewards. The platform continuously updates with new skins and content.

How do I unlock the daily free case?

You can unlock the daily free case by completing all available games every day. Once you play at least 2 games, the daily case becomes available for opening. The case contains various CS:GO skins with different rarities and values, potentially worth up to $500. You can only open one case per day, and it resets daily at Amsterdam timezone. This reward system encourages daily participation and consistent gameplay.

How does the cryptocurrency daily case work?

In addition to the free case, you can open a daily case by entering a valid Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin address in your profile settings. This cryptocurrency case offers additional prize opportunities and is separate from the free case earned by completing games. The cryptocurrency address you provide will be used for prize distribution if you win valuable items that cannot be awarded as skins.

How does the weekly prize system work?

The weekly prize is a random draw for all players who have earned tickets during the week. Every correct guess gives you a ticket. The more tickets you have, the higher your chances of winning. The leaderboard is separate and only shows stats like streaks and guesses; it does not determine the weekly prize winner.

How long does it take to receive prizes after opening a daily case?

Prizes are typically sent within 24 hours after opening a daily case. Prize distribution is done manually. If your prize needs to be paid out in cryptocurrency, you must have a valid crypto address (BTC, ETH, or LTC) in your profile. If no address is set, you may not receive your prize. In such cases, we'll send you an email requesting your address to complete the payout.

What happens if a prize cannot be awarded as a skin?

If a skin prize cannot be delivered (due to trade restrictions, unavailability, or other reasons), we will manually send the prize as cryptocurrency to the wallet address saved in your profile. If no crypto address is set, you may not receive your prize. In such cases, we will contact you via email to request your address before proceeding with the payout.

Why should I include my crypto addresses in my profile?

If a skin from the daily case or weekly prize pool cannot be delivered (due to trade restrictions, market availability, or technical issues), the prize will be automatically paid out in cryptocurrency instead. To ensure you receive your rewards without delay, add a valid Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or Litecoin (LTC) address to your profile settings. This acts as a fallback to guarantee prize delivery.
